This building is located in Collins Waterfront Historic District, and due to the historic and architectural significance of the city of Miami Beach wants to preserve it.
The front entry to the lobby is not currently ADA accessible. Vertical accessibility on the first floor at the front of the property will not be approved by the authority having jurisdiction.

The front entrance to the lobby is not currently ADA accessible.
Due to the building's historical value, I contact Deborah Tackett from the Miami Beach Historic Preservation Department.
I mention the owner's intention to install an ADA ramp, she encourages to apply to the State of Florida for an ADA waiver.

The City of Miami Beach wants to preserve this building as it is. and enhance the architectural significance.

In addition, the current accessibility is provided by a north ramp which goes to the elevator to the lower level and them to the main lobby.
