Grounds for waiver.

10. Grounds for Waiver: The Florida Building Commission may grant waivers of Florida-specific accessibility requirements upon a determination of unnecessary, unreasonable or extreme hardship. Please describe how this project meets the following hardship criteria. Explain all that would apply for consideration of granting the waiver.

NOTE:**

This is an existing Motel, with 18 units being remodeled. We are providing accessibility to the first floor (10 units) but not to the second floor (8 units). We want to remodel and update all the units. Access to the second floor will require an elevator plus raising the walkway slab 4" and reinforcing the slab with columns. This is a hardship financially and we are restricted in the space to do the job.
