Objectives:

Ø  To review the 2018 changes to the International Building Codes (I-Codes) and provide recommendations to the Commission regarding those changes that are needed to accommodate the specific needs of this state, as applicable.

 

Ø  To review and accept final draft report for research project titled “Investigate Energy Impact of Whole-House Dehumidifier Location.”

 

Ø  To review and accept final draft report for research project titled “Residential Air Leakage and Mechanical Ventilation Verification.”

 

Ø  To review and accept final draft report for research project titled “Comparison of the 6th Edition (2017) Florida Building Code, Energy Conservation with IECC 2018 and ASHRAE 90.1 - 2016.”

 

Ø  To review and accept final draft report for research project titled “Webinar Workshops on

Evaluation of the Cost Impact of Prescriptive Code Changes.”

 

Ø  To review and accept final draft report for research project titled “Evaluation of the Cost Impact and Benefit of the 2018 I-Code Changes (Prescriptive Code Changes).”
