MEETING OBJECTIVES

Ø Accepted public input and provide recommendations on the proposed code changes for the 2013 update to the Florida Building Code.

The Committee took up 236 proposed code modifications and one (1) local technical amendment.  The committee convened over two days with the public. 65% were approved as submitted or as modified.   25% received No Affirmative Recommendations with Seconds.  10% were Withdrawn by the applicant.  More specific information can be found at www.floridabuilding.org at the links provided.
