Applicant: Parex USA Incorporated

The email below sent to applicant indicates the reasons for the request for revocation. Multiple applications of similar products (One Coat Stucco) have been denied by the Product Approval POC. Competitors that have applied and been denied have pointed to this approved application as being also defective.

Applicant did not address the email shown below and they took no action to revise their application.

Dear Florida Product Approval Applicant,

A complaint has been received on the subject Florida product approval application.

The subject application was based on an evaluation report that evaluated the product based as an alternate to Chapter 25.  Alternates to the Florida Building Code are not acceptable for statewide Florida Product Approval.  Tour application is required to be revised in order to be based in compliance with Chapter 25 of the 2007 Florida Building Code.  

The next completion date to submit a Florida Product Approval application  is July 4, 2011.  Failure to revise your application by that date will subject your application to be placed on the agenda for revocation at the August 2011 Florida Building Commission meeting.
