ACCESSIBILITY TAC

The TAC met and having a quorum, discussed the following:

Opinions on Chapter 11: This is not possible until such time as a legislative change occurs.

Correct Dimensions for Curb Ramps and Ramps: Consideration will take place by rule and through the next code change cycle.

Fire Code/Building Code Review: Areas are being identified that conflict and advise all affected parties.

Planning Hotel Charette: All TAC members will identify areas that should be addressed at the charette to prepare the scoping requirements.

Review or 2 Hour Training Course: Some sections have been noted where some changes need to be made for clarification or flow. A working group was appointed and will meet in November to analyze which changes need to be made. It is possible that greater consistency among instructors can be achieved by a more detailed instructor's guide.
