4.      Report on the 2009 deployment of the BCIS

The Chair asked if Cam Fentriss would further report on the 2009 deployment of the updated BCIS. Cam stated that there have been a few minor issues. She stated that the expiration date regarding the duration of an accreditor’s status have been changed. She also said that she has received calls regarding how to update/change a course application. She said the easy solution was to move the button initiating this process to the top of the page, instead of having to scroll to the bottom to find it.

Med Kopczynski said that he was not receiving emails (as an accreditor) when a course was approved. Cam said that she would look into it. Med also said that he had some old courses in his inbox. Cam stated that Michael Clark and herself were going to create a list of courses needing to be removed from the BCIS (for a variety of reasons) in May.
