RE: Detailed reports for proposed Glitch code changes to the 2013 Update to the Florida Building Code

TAC Meetings – June 2013

This is to inform you that the Commission’s Technical Advisory Committees (TACs) will be holding meetings via conference calls/webinars to consider and accept input on the Glitch proposed code changes to the 2012 International Codes as the foundation to the 2013 Florida Building Code, and those Florida specific requirements currently existing within the 2010 Florida Building Code [FBC] and required by law to be carried forward to the 2013 update to the FBC. Each Committee as identified below will consider those proposed Glitch code changes and amendments that fall within their area of expertise. Detailed reports with linked download files containing the proposed Glitch code changes to be considered at each TAC meeting are now available on- line at the link below. In addition, summary tracking charts, and TACs Glitch code modification review process, are also available from the link below.

Please download file(s) of interest and review modifications of interest before the meeting to familiarize yourself with the issues. Also, please be advised that no hard copy or CD will be sent to you before the meeting.

Comments on a proposed mod may be provided at the meeting. Also, please note that

the electronic detailed reports will be used at the TAC meetings to follow TAC action on the proposed Glitch code changes.
