The
purpose of this meeting was to accept public input and to provide
recommendations on the proposed code changes for the 2013 update to the
Florida Building Code |

Discussion of
objectives included the following: |

1) |
8:00 AM - Welcome
and Opening, Roll Call. A quorum was
present. Mr.
Jeff Blair, facilitator, provided a brief overview of meeting protocol and
procedures. Motion
and second to approve minutes from meeting of May 29, 2012 with no changes; unanimous
approval vote. |

2) |
Discussion
and recommendation on the proposed code changes to the 2013 Florida Building
Code: Thirty-nine
(39) proposed modifications for the 2013 update to the Florida Building Code
were considered. Each proposed modification was presented as follows: -Proponent
Presentation -TAC Discussion -TAC Vote
on Recommendation Results: Of the 39 Proposed Modifications,
28 were approved As Submitted, 2 were approved As Modified, 7 had No
Affirmative Recommendation with a second, 1 had No Affirmative Recommendation
without a second and 1 was withdrawn. The Mod Tracking chart indicating
details of each proposed modification’s vote and TAC comments are available
