Grounds for waiver.

10. Grounds for Waiver: The Florida Building Commission may grant waivers of Florida-specific accessibility requirements upon a determination of unnecessary, unreasonable or extreme hardship. Please describe how this project meets the following hardship criteria. Explain all that would apply for consideration of granting the waiver.

NOTE:**

The hardship is created by the nature of this historic building. existing entry stoop is too small (3'4" x 3'2") to accommodate an ramp (60" x 60") Construction of a ramp and larger porch would negatively impact the historic nature of the house. The room that accesses the rear porch is 5" lower that the remainder of house, making that entry inaccessible as well.

Licensed Design Professional Comments.

11. Licensed Design Professional: Where a licensed design professional has designed the project, his or her comments including his or her signature and professional seal MUST be uploaded.

Comments:
The nature of the owner's business (real estate) makes conducting business off site, i.e. the owner's home, or subject sale property, negates the need for accessibility at this site. The owner is the only employee, and he would deal with accessibility issues for his use when they present themselves.
