Welcome and Opening

 

B.)

Agenda Reviewed and Approved - James Batts  made a motion to approve the Agenda and Gordon Shephardson made a second with unanimous approval by the TAC

 

C.)

Approved minutes from April 4, 2014 meeting. - .  James Batts  made a motion to approve minutes and John J. Wahler made a second with unanimous approval by the TAC.

 

D.)

Discussed and recommend potential research topics for consideration by the Commission. -  TAC had no research topics for the Commission.

 

E.)

General Public Comment – Jennifer Hatfield had comments about sump and main drains not properly being installed and more education needed for Contractors and Building Officials. The second issue Jennifer had was the Rule Change 64E-9 (DOH) that puts maintenance inspections on the Building Officials.

 

F.)

Members Comment – Bob Vincent brought up concerns of rubberized polymer on pool bottom and decking. The material becomes toxic when exposed to pool chemicals. Bob also brought up the issue of Float tanks and the issue of classifying them as a special purpose pool.
