Ø Objective 4 To review comments related to equivalence of the 2013 update to the Florida Building Code, Energy Conservation, to the 2012 International Energy Conservation Code and ASHRAE 90.1-2010.

Objective

Review of objectives will include the following:  Description of issue, discussion by TAC, public comment, TAC action

1)

 

Welcome and Opening, Roll Call, Review and Approval of Meeting Agenda,

Review and approval of June 14, 2013, meeting minutes

2)

Discuss and recommend potential research topics for consideration by the Commission.   (Support Document 1) (Support Document 2)

3)

Review comments related to the 2013 Update to the Florida Building Code for the purpose of making recommendation(s) for consideration by the Commission during the Rule Development Workshop on Rule 6G20-1.001, F.A.C., to be held in conjunction with the August 22-23, 2013 Commission meeting Public comments

4)

Review documentation that the code provisions of the 2013update to the Florida Building Code, Energy Conservation is equivalent to the 2012 International Energy Conservation Code and ASHRAE Standard 90.1-2010. Recommend that the Commission certify said equivalency to the U.S. Department of Energy per federal law. US DOE  Certify

5)
