MEETING OBJECTIVES

Ø To accept public input and to provide recommendations on the proposed code changes for the 2017 update to the Florida Building Code.

Called  to Order

 

1)

Review and Approval of April 7, 2016 Meeting Agenda.  The meeting agenda was approved by the TAC as posted.
Review and Approval of December 28, 2015 Meeting Minutes. The December 28, 2015 meeting minutes were approved as posted.

 

2)

To discuss and accept public input and provide recommendations on the proposed code changes for the 6th Edition 2017 update to the Florida Building Code.

The Committee discussed and accepted public input on thirty-one (31) Proposed Code modifications for proposed code changes for the 2017 update to the Florida Building Code, including technical amendments.  Sixteen mods were approved as submitted. One mod was approved as modified. Ten mods received NAR and Four mods were withdrawn.
