to order: Ken
Gregory-Chair called the meeting to order at 11:04AM
Quorum was achieved with the following members
in attendance:Tom Allen, Tony Caruso, Joe Crum, Bill Dumbaugh, Dale Greiner,
Dan Johnson, and Gordon Shepardson.
Agenda: The June 8, 2009 Agenda was
approved as submitted
Commission policy and procedure: Jeff Blair Reviewed
the of Commission’s Workgroup Meeting Guidelines, Consensus-Building, Decision-Making
Process, and the Sunshine Requirements the committee must follow
Review of Workgroup’s Tasks as provided by
the Florida Building Commission: To
evaluate swimming pool entrapment standards application to Existing pools. The
swimming pool subcommittee entertained comments from the public relevant to the
entrapment issues as well as other items for future meetings.

Requirements
for compliance of existing pools with the following motion:
“Motion: for discussion at next meeting to try to determine the various
triggers which will require existing residential pools to be brought into
compliance with current suction outlet and barrier safety requirements for new
pools”
As noted by the chair all
members or the public are to send in comments relating to the above issue to
staff by July 25,2009
