8.)

Education Administrator activity report

Discussion: Chair Dean asked the Education Administrator, Michael Clark, to please address this agenda item. Mr. Clark stated that he conducted normal activities since the last reporting period. He also stated that 49 inquiries were handled, either by phone, email, or both, and that the specifics of those inquiries were listed in the report. He asked if the Commissioners had any questions about the report. No questions were forthcoming so the Chair asked the POC to accept the report.

Commissioner Flanagan asked Mr. Clark if he was busier than usual working with providers, as a result of the new code being used for course development. Mr. Clark stated that he was busier than usual for awhile, but that providers seem to have settled in using the new code.

Identify future POC member discussion items

April Hammonds stated that the FBC Chairman, Dick Browdy, has asked all of the POCs and TACs to take a second member roll call at the end of all meetings. The Chair asked the Education Administrator to conduct a member roll call. The Education Administrator conducted a roll call and five members were present with one member being absent---the same result as the beginning of the meeting.
