3. Report on the ongoing Rule Development process
regarding Amendments to Rule 9B-70.002,
Chair Browdy stated that a
Rule Development workshop would be scheduled for the April POC meeting
regarding further modifications to 9B-70.002.
Cam Fentriss stated that other
than what had already been changed in recent workshops, a technical change
needed to occur in Section (4) and the expiration dates of registered training
providers and accreditors needs to be looked at, which include what is stated
on the BCIS regarding this issue.
4. Report on
the 2009 deployment of the BCIS.

couple of issues have surfaced since deployment, but to her knowledge have been
fixed. She asked the audience to contact the Education Administrator if other
issues were discovered.

6. Review administratively approved updated advanced
courses for recommendation to Commission
The Chair asked for a Consent Motion for the
administratively approved courses listed below. Commissioner Hamrick had to
abstain from approving course #309.1, as a result of a conflict of interest. So
course #s 323.0, 324.0, and 168.2 were approved through a Consent Motion.
Before the Consent Motion was voted on, Med
Kopczynski asked if course # 168.2 should be approved as it is currently
designed, stating that this course was a past DCA owned course , which the POC
voted in 2008 not to be used anymore as an updated advanced course, except as
the basic framework for a re-constructed course.
