MINUTES

Meeting Activities:

• Attendees – Fire TAC (FBC): Tony Apfelbeck, Hamid Bahaderi, Jim Goodloe, Dale Greiner, Jeff Gross, Joe Holland, Brad Schiffer, Jim Schock, and Peter Schwab.

• The Joint Committee reviewed and discussed potential code conflicts identified by the members and decided that in general the majorities of the identified conflicts between codes have been resolved. In addition, to continue the task of identifying conflicts between the two codes (2007 FBC and FFPC), the Joint Committee decided to hold a meeting (February 7, 2007) necessary to review potential conflicts which may exists in the following subject areas: (1) Common path of travel, (2) Dead end corridors, (3) Travel distance, and (4) Remoteness of exits. Mr. Brad Schiffer has volunteered to conduct the necessary research and analysis to identify potential conflicts which may exists between the two codes for the above mentioned subject areas and provide the Joint Committee with a report within two weeks from the December 6, 2006 meeting.
