Structural TAC members present: Jim Schock, Chairman
Craig Parrino, C.W. Macomber, Rusty Carroll, Jack Glenn, Dan Lavrich, Do Kim, Jaime Gascon, and Nicholas Nicholson.

1.   Called to Order – The TAC reviewed/approved agenda and Minutes.

2. The TAC reviewed and provided recommendations to the Commission on the requests for declaratory statements as follows:

DCA10-DEC-213 by Gary Pailthorp, PE of Bracken Engineering

TAC Action: The TAC recommended that the petition be dismissed. The Petition falls outside the scope of the declaratory statement process.

DCA10-DEC-270 by Michael Heissenberg, president of Expert Shutter Services, Inc.

TAC Action: The TAC recommended that the petition be dismissed. The Petition falls outside the scope of the declaratory statement process.

3. As requested by the POC, the TAC reviewed and evaluated the technical aspect of the evaluation report submitted as the technical documentation for FL#8809 and provided the following recommendation:

TAC Recommendation: The TAC reviewed the evaluation report and relating documentation and concluded that the application in question is an alternate method to the fastening schedule for wood structural panels of Table 1609.1.2 of the 2007 FBC and thus falls outside the scope of Rule 9N-3.
