July 1, 2013 send out email to TAC members to solicit research topics

August 1-8, 2013 convene all the TACs/POCs

August 12, 2013 compile outcomes of TACs and POCs meetings/various research topics by TAC

August 22, 2013 make available list of research topics for review at the Chairs meeting establish evaluation criteria for determining the viability of research subject matter

September 2013 working with the proponents of potential research projects, staff compiles research projects using the Commission approved research evaluation criteria.

October 2013 Chair meeting to consider and recommend list of research topics for consideration by the Commission

Oct. /Nov. 2013      solicit qualified entity to do the research

Dec.2013/Jan.2014 draft contract for research and implementation

Jan./Feb.2014 start contract (contract time frame 1 – 3 years)

Funding is contingent upon budget appropriation and must be spend within the Fiscal year.
